Bruskey is a rural parish situated in south Cavan. Bruskey ICA guild grew out of an idea put forward in 1970 by Rev Peter Paul O Reilly CC. A meeting was arranged and at least seventy women attended. A committee was formed and Bruskey ICA was founded. It had twenty four paid up members and Mary Kate Brady was the first guild President with Susan Clerkin secretary and Mollie McGauran treasurer. It was stressed that the ICA was a non-political and non-sectarian organisation. 'Thanks to this we are still here thirty eight years later.' Roslea is a small village situated in East Fermanagh not far from Clones. The Roslea Community Historical Society was founded in 1986 with the aim of researching the local history of the area. In 1992 the society opened the Roslea Heritage Centre in a renovated school known locally as the 'chapel school'. In the same year the Society began publication of the Roslea Community Historical Society Journal.
