The school is a small rural primary school which enjoys two large hard play and soft play areas. The buildings of the school consist of one main building including toilets, assembly hall/canteen and one classroom. The other classes are accommodated in two mobiles. One of the mobiles also contains one office for the secretary and principal to share and one staff room.

What you hope this project will help you and your school accomplish?
It is important to all of us in Cornagague Primary School that each child is happy, secure and has a positive attitude to learning. We therefore hope our children have fun taking part in this project. We hope they will participate in work shops, educational trips and develop their ICT skills in the production of a project website.

Cornagague aims to emphasise the successful development of the whole individual in all areas of achievement including creative, musical, sporting and practical activities. We believe there are important aspects of learning that are constantly reinforced through projects such as this one ie independence, collaboration, the ability to relate to others in a social context, self-confidence and having a different audience to express ideas and opinions. Through the Cavan - Fermanagh project we hope to enhance further these skills and personal qualities within our children.
