With funding from The Monument Trust, the Museums Association (MA) has developed a programme of Fellowships for retired or soon-to-retire museum professionals, aimed at capturing their unrecorded collections-related knowledge.

Helen Lanigan Wood, retired Curator of Fermanagh County Museum has been awarded one of seven such fellowships and starts work on a project to pass on collections knowledge to her successor, Sarah McHugh, Manager - Museum Services.

From November 2007 - November 2008, Helen Lanigan Wood will make her research available as a work in progress in this section of the website. This research will be shown on webpages and a series of interactive maps.

The project is entitled - 'Topographical Prints, Historic Maps and Photographs of County Fermanagh'.
