The oral recordings included in the exhibition came out of two of the partnerships involved in the project.

These were Cavan Positive Age with Killesher Old Mill Club, Fermanagh and Cavan Positive Age with Belleek Women's Group, Fermanagh.

After a series of meetings both partnerships agreed to record some of their experiences of life in Cavan and Fermanagh. The idea of the recordings was that people would get a chance to compare life in both counties and to see what they had in common as well as what might be different about each others lives. The partnerships decided to discuss: childhood, schooling and entertainment, as well as attitudes to death, and religion. Having decided on the topics to talk about the two partnerships then met, and in a group discussion format, each gave their own contributions on the agreed topics.
