This is a partnership between St. Ninnidh's Primary School, Derrylin in County Fermanagh with Mullahoran National School, Corlough in County Cavan.

These schools are working with both Fermanagh and Cavan County Museums through their joint Connecting Peoples, Places & Heritage Project which runs until June 2008.

This project - Connecting Peoples, Places & Heritage has received an award of financial assistance under Peace II Programme - Measure 5.3 Developing Cross Border Reconciliation and Understanding.

The project employs a full time Outreach Officer and part-time administrator to create 6 cross border, cross community partnerships between schools in County Cavan and County Fermanagh and 4 cross border, cross community adult partnerships in the counties.

These partnerships will explore potentially contentious period of their history through the medium of heritage.

Objectives of school partnership programme:

Work with 12 schools to create 6 cross-border school partnerships to create 6 different Virtual Heritage Trails between Fermanagh and Cavan which will be available to the public via the world wide web.

Devise, organise and implement educational programmes, workshops, seminars, tours, lectures and events.

Deliver educational heritage trails to schools.
