St Mary PS Teemore

St Mary's Primary School is a Co-educational Catholic Maintained Primary School situated in Teemore in the parish of Knockninney in South West Fermanagh. It is a caring school where the community share a common goal to do the very best for all the children in its care.

St Mary's opened on 1st of September 1975 with 87 children on roll. It replaced Garvary, Stonepark, Drumanymore and Derrybrick Primary Schools. The enrolment grew in the 1980s and 1990s to 135 pupils. Presently enrolment is 62 pupils.

What you hope this project will help you and your school to accomplish?
We hope our pupils will successfully and productively liaise with Fairgreen National School and in doing so will develop a new understanding of their area from both cultural and heritage perspectives. We hope that all the pupils will collaborate effectively with each other in designing a web page and a virtual trail showcasing their combined journey of discovery.
