An exhibition from the Ulster Museum’s collection of historic jewellery donated by Anne Hull Grundy, dating from the 18th century to the early 20th. This collection of jewellery highlights the changes in fashions with both precious and semi-precious jewels and it also includes examples of Irish jewellery such as Bog oak and 19th century reproductions of the ‘Tara’ brooch. It also explores the development of new techniques in the art of jewellery making and the use of diverse materials in jewellery manufacture today.
