Learn how to glaze and decorate ceramics using the traditional Japanese ‘raku’ method. The afternoon will involve a short introduction to the stunning ‘Japan in Belfast’ exhibition with Museum Manager, Sarah McHugh. Those attending the masterclass will then have the opportunity to decorate and fire a tea bowl to take home. The masterclass will be led by award-winning Fermanagh potter, Ann McNulty. All materials are supplied including a biscuit-fired tea bowl, made previously by Ann, for decorating. Japanese refreshments provided.
