Love Parks Week is all about getting people out and into their local parks to enjoy and discover them.
The campaign was launched in 2006 by the charity Green Space.
As part of a programme of events there will be a guided tour of The Forthill Pleasure Park detailing the history of the former Common Land, its Victorian reinvention & the role of Thomas Plunkett in securing its beauty.
