Sir Edward Carson being driven through Enniskillen in a horse drawn carriage followed by the cavalry of the Volunteer Enniskillen Horse. Edward Carson was in Enniskillen to begin the Ulster campaign against Home Rule. If one looks closely at the image it is possible to see William Copeland Trimble, commanding officer of this force, wearing a panama hat.
