| Description |
|
In 1920 ownership of the Belleek Pottery changed hands and shortly afterwards, a Hungarian artist, Madame Bereniux, came to work at the pottery and introduced designs inspired by Early Medieval Celtic art. The bands of animal interlace on this coffee set, made during the period 1926 - 1946, are good examples of her work.
