Activity Day 3 - Medieval Feast and Art Workshop.
Letter written by one of school children from Enniskillen Integrated Primary School after their visit to St. Michael's National School. The letter reads -
'Well first we went to St Michaels then we went to the banquet where we dressed-up in Medieval clothes and sat at a table and tried the food. Then we went to make models, models of Tully Castle and Monea Castle. We put pulp as the walls. Pulp is made out of shredded newspaper, glue, warm water and sand. We made the roof with wet string. I was working with Jade and the two other boys. I met Shauna the very first time they came to our school. Shauna is really nice. We also had an artist who built castles but we decorated them. The principal Mrs Majella McCarthy spoke a lot of Irish.' |
