| Description |
My father kept a lot of pigs, and he had cows and calves, and my mother had fowl. She was a wonderful woman for having fowl. And we all had to work at anything that was going on. There was potatoes, in the springtime you had to help with the crop, putting in the crop, dropping the spuds, and then in the summertime, you were at the bog, and the hay and the corn, and then the harvest time you gathered the spuds. Yes, we were all working. We had to work.
