St Ninnidh's Primary school is located in the village of Derrylin. It takes its name from an early Irish saint who is said to have spent the period of Lent fasting on Knockninny hill (hill of Ninnidh). The present school was opened in September 2005. The school comprises five classrooms, two resource areas, a library, staff room and office as well as a sports/dining hall. The staff include eight teachers, five classroom assistants, a secretary, a caretaker, two lunchtime supervisors and two kitchen staff. The school is a health promoting school and participates in a wide range of cultural and sporting activities. | ![]() St. Ninnidh's Primary School, Derrylin, Co. Fermanagh |
