A free event to reconnect with our Museum Friends.
We are opening up our exhibition galleries early on Saturday, 13 November for a special event for the Museum Friends. The morning focuses on two very different exhibitions currently on show. ‘The Changing of a Nation’ explores a pivotal time in the history of the island of Ireland, with the formation of Northern Ireland and the Irish Free State. The ‘Around the Meadow’ exhibition celebrates the Broadmeadow, Enniskillen and links the new reminiscence trail beyond the castle walls.
Museum staff, Catherine Scott and Sinead Reilly, will give an overview of the two exhibitions and bring out other related objects to view from behind-the-scenes. There will then be an opportunity to look round the exhibitions. Catherine and Sinead will be on hand until 12 noon for a chat and a catch up.
Please book in advance as numbers are limited.
