View all opening hours‘Years of Chaos and Hope’ reflects on the conflicting identities, protests and warfare leading into the period of the ‘Troubles’. Beginning with the context of the Decade of Centenaries, the exhibition explores the troubled times in the Northern Ireland conflict from 1922 up to the more recent past. The themes and events in the Linen Hall Library exhibition are expanded through photographs, objects and memorabilia, significant to the local area and part of our museum collections. Looking back helps us to understand the turbulent years, the consequences of which are still shaping our society today.
‘Years of Chaos & Hope’ is a project developed by The Linen Hall and funded by the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs Reconciliation Fund.
