African-Caribbean Support Organisation Workshop

With the African Caribbean Support Organisation, the group explored the experiences of ethnic minority communities in Northern Ireland. Esther Ogunleye presented a celebration of African-Caribbean culture and led a group discussion reflecting on themes including sense-of-self and identity.

“We all have tags [labels] then we live our lives by them. During this project it was about coming together as a community; we came together and we put our tags aside.”
